EQ: How do I respect intellectual property rights and avoid plagiarism?
Vocabulary
intellectual property - creations of the mind, including literary and artistic works
original - new; first of its kind; unlike anything seen before; not a copy
citation – indicating the source of the information and ideas presented or of quoted words
bibliography - a list of full citations for all the sources used that appears at the end of a paper, article, or book
plagiarism - taking credit for, or presenting as one's own, someone else's words, ideas, or images
