When you do a research project or write a paper, your teacher will usually require you to include a bibliography using MLA (Modern Language Association) style. The bibliography is a list of all the works you consulted and allows a reader to judge the quality of your research - and to double check your facts! Including a bibliography is also how you give credit to the authors whose work and ideas you used and therefore how you avoid plagiarism, which is when you present someone else's words or ideas as your own.
